She joined Monat in 2017, driven by her love for community, wellness, and leadership. Since then, she’s built a thriving business and explored the world through her career. For the past six years, Sophie has worked alongside Bailey to grow a successful online venture rooted in connection and purpose. Outside of business, she’s a proud and devoted mother of three, balancing ambition with heart in everything she does.

Rubie’s style is romantic and elegant, with an editorial feel. She’s highly requested for the soft-feminine glam look and neutral full glam look beloved by brides on their special day. Using airbrush makeup, it remains fresh and resilient, enabling brides to dance the night away worry-free. Rubie's experience has led her to be featured in 14+ magazines such as Vogue, Lucy and on the cover of Pump magazine and other digital publications. Her bridal work has been featured in the wed, vineyard bride and more.

COLOR & BALAYAGE SPECIALISTMeet Andrea, with 20 years in the hair industry she has worked in prestigious salons and as an independent colourist and former salon co-owner. Andrea now specializes in balayage and lived-in looks, constantly learning to master custom work for each guest. Trained with AVEDA, Revlon Professional, and L'Oréal Professional hair colour, Andrea prioritizes maintaining her clients' hair integrity, promising beautiful, healthy hair. She specializes exclusively in colour. She has a passion for outdoor activities like working out, yoga, meditation, and enjoying a good book on a tranquil beach. She loves sharing these hobbies with her kids to support a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Her guilty pleasures include sweet pastries and iced caramel macchiatos made with almond milk.

Now retired from skating, she has been coaching CanSkate for seven years, finding joy in sharing her passion with young skaters. Leia loves simple pleasures like spending time with family and friends, camping, or relaxing with her Frenchie. She is eager to build her clientele, welcoming all styles and hair goals. Though she enjoys learning from senior stylists and doesn't have a specialty yet, Leia loves creating soft, blended, lived-in looks for blondes and brunettes, as well as long layered cuts and face framing.

She specializes in chic, low-maintenance styles, grey blending, and density solutions for midlife hair. Formerly in a hair replacement clinic, Kristyn is now rebuilding her clientele and excited for a long future with Shampoo Society. She’s also an experienced educator and a digital marketing grad who loves creative side projects. When she's not behind the chair, she’s cheering on her teen at baseball games or hanging with her two fat cats. Kristyn values real connections and brings quiet warmth, thoughtfulness, and care to every guest in her chair.

COLOURISTMeet Marissa, a passionate colourist with 9 years of dedicated colour artistry and 11 years in the hairstyling industry. She lives for the thrill of creating custom colours that make her clients shine—especially blondes (she proudly owns her blonde geek title). The salon is her happy place, a space where creativity flows and connections are made. Outside of work, she finds joy in the beautiful chaos of life with her four-year-old. SCALP SPA TECHNICIANMeet Olivia, with a background in psychology and a passion for stress management, Olivia brings a unique perspective to her work as a scalp spa technician. Her journey in the beauty industry began with brow artistry, where she honed her skills and blended aesthetics with an understanding of human connection. Olivia loves fostering community through connection over coffee, soulful conversations, and empowering events, always aiming to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Outside the clinic, Cate stays active, enjoys time with family and friends, and loves soaking up the sun at the beach. Fun facts about Cate: her favorite drink is a spicy margarita (or just water if it's non-alcoholic), her favorite service is facial balancing with fillers, and one word that describes her is "goal-getter."
BROOKLYN
JUNIOR STYLISTMeet Brooklyn, our Junior Stylist now taking on salon clients. From a young age she has been deeply passionate about the art of hairstyling, this early interest has shaped her career path and commitment to the industry. She has completed and gained practical experience through co-op placement in our salon. Additionally, she has achieved level two certification in the Ontario youth apprenticeship program 0YAP. Outside the salon, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping and playing volleyball. While she is in the salon, she is eager to build her clientele and advance her career as a junior stylist, soaking up all the knowledge she can from the senior stylists, blow dry's on clients and expanding on her cutting and colouring abilities.
